Simpson Site Support Services are based in the North of England, but covers the whole of the UK, providing Operative training, testing and Statutory Examinations at your convenience.

This course is for: Plant mechanics and maintenance staff, Yard workers and plant movers, Delivery drivers transporting machines. Anyone responsible for loading, unloading, or repositioning plant equipment.

You don’t need to know how to operate the machinery fully – just how to move it safely and legally.

What You’ll Learn: This is a practical, focused course that covers: How to move plant machinery safely on-site; Pre-use checks and inspection procedures; Correct use of PPE; Safe loading, unloading and storage of attachments; Understanding the manufacturer’s handbook; Environmental awareness and hazard spotting; Shutdown procedures and end-of-day checks; Your legal responsibilities under LOLER & PUWER.

Training includes both classroom and hands-on practice with real machines.

This course is perfect for: Plant delivery drivers, Yard staff and fitters, Operators who load/unload machines but don’t use them on-site, Anyone transporting mobile plant on public roads.

It’s suitable for both beginners and experienced workers needing formal certification.
